Knights of Columbus

Greater Forsyth’s Breakfast with Santa.  The Council served pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, and muffins along with juice and coffee to 306 people who attended the event.  Families with mentally and physically handicapped children come to enjoy a great breakfast and the children get to tell Santa what they want for Christmas.

Dan Levstek and Chuck Trowbridge made sure everything was organized for the event. Ricky Touchstone and Mark Ethun worked their magic with the pancakes.  Dara Folan, Fred Machant, and Bobby Page made sure there were plenty of eggs.  Jeff Allen, Paul Hoying, Charlie Moosebrugger, and Craig Smith were busy running the food from the kitchen to buffet line and serving the food.  Lou Valente, Jr. showed up with his family to help clean-up and Dan Schuller was our photographer for the event.

Council #2829 got a very special surprise from the Family Support Network this year.  Our Council was given the “Good Neighbor Award” for being a Breakfast with Santa sponsor for 10 years.  We did not realize that we had been working with the Family Support Network for so long.
